Table Runner
Following on from the success of the festive winter runner course, come & create a beautiful interiors accessory to bring floral cheer to your home.
A workshop that is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy a more immersive hand printing project but hesitant about doing it at home on their own. With plenty of tuition, guidance and confidence building along the way, the day starts with learning the fundamental techniques for achieving great stencil printing results. Using my unique botanical stencils and novel system, you will soon be creating pretty summer inspired floral and wild foliage designs on a pre made cotton table runner.
Don’t worry if you are uncertain about pattern composition, we will talk through simple suggestions to help you feel more assured, plus displayed samples will offer ideas to be copied or act as inspiration for your own design thoughts.
An attractive and coordinating selection of pre-mixed fabric paints will be ready for your use. The course will also cover how to fix the paints to ensure that your runner is hand washable.
All materials supplied.
You will also take home an A4 sheet of stencils and a brush.
Aprons will be available on the day, but best to wear clothes you are happy to get mucky.
Morning and afternoon refreshments are included, please bring a packed lunch with you.
