Print & Make a Poppy Lampshade
Using my own newly designed poppy stencils, you’ll first learn how to print onto fabric, then go on to construct a professional-quality 30cm drum lampshade, perfect for a table lamp or ceiling fitting.
With step-by-step learning & expert guidance throughout, you’ll explore two creative processes in one session: fabric printing and lampshade making. You’ll also have the freedom to choose your own colour palette, from the bold pop of red poppies to soft lilacs, plums and purples, allowing you to make a home accessory that suits your personal style or home interior.
Perfect for beginners and those looking to explore new techniques, this relaxed small group workshop includes all materials and plenty of one-to-one tutoring.
You’ll leave with a completely unique handmade lampshade — and the skills to keep creating more.
All materials supplied, including the kit to make a 30cm diameter Drum Lampshade.
Aprons will be available on the day, but best to wear clothes you are happy to get mucky.
Morning and afternoon refreshments are included, please bring a packed lunch with you.
