Seed Head Cushion Cover
Capture the beauty of seasonal seed heads in fabric paint whilst enjoying a day of relaxed learning printing your own version of this charming cushion cover.
Inspired by cutting gardens and walks in the countryside, stencil print colourful poppy seed heads, wild grasses and umbellifers - those beautiful plant shapes that line our roads and verges.
The workshop is perfect for both complete beginners and those who may have used stencils before.
With demonstrations and plenty of practice time to build your confidence, you will learn to stencil print layered effects and create the pretty colour combinations of each plant.
Guidance on composition and how best to use colour will be included too, a calming colour-way of pre mixed paints will be ready for your use. Information will be given on how to fix the paint so that your cushion cover is hand washable.
All materials supplied for the course.
If you choose the "with kit" option will also take home an A4 set of stencils and a set of brushes.
Aprons will be available on the day, but best to wear clothes you are happy to get mucky.
Morning and afternoon refreshments are included, please bring a packed lunch with you.
