Celebrate the richness of the autumn harvest with a day of relaxed, creative printing inspired by the glorious colours and forms of leaves, foliage, berries and seed heads.

 
Using my unique modular stencil system, you’ll learn how to build vibrant, flowing patterns by hand, combining botanical motifs and colours to create designs that are entirely your own — and beautifully coordinated with your home.

The workshop is designed to build knowledge, confidence and printing enjoyment at every level.

 

I suggest that beginners start with a gentle introduction to stencil printing while decorating four ready-made fabric napkins and a drawstring bag.

 

If you have more experience, you could choose to stencil a medium-sized fabric storage container instead of the drawstring bag. While returning students could enjoy the more involved challenge of decorating a large fabric basket.
 

All of the fabric accessories are provided as ready-made blanks, so your day is entirely focused on the creative enjoyment of choosing colours, composing patterns and hand-printing your designs.
 

The finished pieces are both beautiful and useful — bringing colour and character to your home whether you use them on the kitchen table, to hold harvested fruits or bread, or to keep textile treasures, fat quarters and balls of wool beautifully organised.
